As a patient, you can rest assured you will be at the center of the care we provide. In order to keep you well and get you better when you're sick, we understand that a patient needs to be an active partner in his/her health care.
We also know that the success of our work depends on communicating effectively with you, and ensuring that your care is well coordinated. A patient's care, for example, may lead in several different directions over the course of a lifetime - to the hospital, a specialist such as a cardiologist or neurologist, a mental health professional, a social service agency, or involve home care. Whatever your health needs, you can count on your primary care physician to guide and support you every step of the way.
In addition to primary care, the Albany Shaker Road Health Center also offers Pelvic Care services, including general urology, gynecologic care, colorectal health and physical therapy.
Referrals & Hospital Care
Our patients have access to Ellis Medicine's experts and its many programs, services and facilities - a tremendous resource you can count on.
Should our patients require more specialized care or treatment, we will consult with or refer you to the appropriate medical expert or link you to a social service agency that can help. Should you require hospital care, our physicians will admit you to Ellis Hospital and tend to you during your stay.
